Self Care

Do you ever have those days where you just need to get away from everyone, and everything, and just be alone? It’s easy to get overwhelmed and feel the need to escape. For me, talking to Hashem is the best therapy out there. It's a time I can speak my mind without judgment, letting my thoughts and emotions flow freely. Today, I decided to go on a hike up a beautiful incline, where I could immerse myself in nature and have a heart-to-heart conversation with Hashem. Nature has always had a way of calming my mind, and with each step, I felt lighter.

When I finally reached the top, I took a deep breath and felt accomplished. I had made it. In that moment, I felt a connection with Hashem and a deep sense of peace. These past few weeks, I felt spiritually lost. It was as if all my efforts were for nothing, and I felt disconnected. The weight of these feelings was heavy, and I knew I had a lot of work to do on myself. Today's hike and my conversation with Hashem were a reminder that it's okay to feel lost sometimes and enjoy where life takes us. It's part of the journey, and acknowledging these feelings is the first step towards healing and growth.

I believe it's healthy to spend time alone now and then. It allows us to truly feel our emotions, whether it's happiness, sadness, or anything in between. It's an opportunity to reflect on ourselves. This is the time I set my mind completely free. Allowing myself to reconnect with Hashem and nature. It's my form of self-care.
